Pit Rule Web Map

This is an extension of the project listed below. The purpose of this web mapping application is to provide natural resource companies a GIS to determine the geology, depth water water, groundwater elevation, and karst areas throughout the United States. Future development of the project depends on additional funding.




Pit Rule Web Map

The purpose of this web mapping application is to assit the oil and gas industry in New Mexico with the completion of Form C-144. The web map allows users to view groundwater, hydrogeologic, and oil and gas data. The data can be viewed on aerial photographs, USGS Topographic Maps, or a Geologic Map.
